What you'll do

- You'll also perform hands-on editing, making changes to cuts, pacing, sequencing, and other elements based on your editorial assessment.
- Your written feedback and editing decisions will be used as part of an AI evaluation project, so we're looking for editors who can explain their creative and editorial decisions, not simply give a score.
- Review short-form and commercial videos to evaluate creative editing decisions and overall effectiveness.
- Assess opening hooks, storytelling, pacing, cut density, rhythm, transitions, sequencing, and visual flow.
- Identify specific strengths and weaknesses in an edit, including unnecessary cuts, dead air, awkward transitions, and ineffective payoffs.
- Provide clear, actionable feedback with specific timestamps and explanations for why an edit works or needs improvement.
- Compare editing approaches and explain how creative choices affect viewer engagement and the overall viewing experience.
