Who The Client Is: Our client is a well-established Australian professional services firm that provides accounting, taxation, and business advisory support to a diverse portfolio of small and medium-sized businesses. Their team works closely with business owners to help them make informed financial decisions, maintain compliance, improve cash flow, and create sustainable growth strategies. As the firm continues to grow, they are looking for a highly capable accounting professional who can become a trusted extension of the team, someone who can confidently handle both bookkeeping and accounting responsibilities while contributing valuable financial insights beyond day-to-day processing.

You will work closely with senior accountants and business advisors, assisting with client work across multiple industries and supporting the firm's commitment to delivering high-quality financial outcomes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, proactive, and capable of operating independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities for multiple client accounts

Utilise a range of accounting software and technologies to improve efficiency and accuracy across client engagements
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience and understanding of Division 7A Loans, Unpaid Present Entitlements (UPEs), Capital Gains Tax (CGT) concessions, Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT), and Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSFs)
